Sylvania’s petcare lamp product range provides an appropriate environment for various biological organisms, typically for fish, corals and reptiles – simulating the same light conditions as in the wild. Animals living in the wild are adapted to and rely on various environmental conditions to stay healthy: temperature, humidity, sunlight, water, etc. When these animals or plants are kept indoors – or are taken out of their natural habitat – the same or very similar natural conditions have to be provided.The required light conditions can be perfectly controlled by artificial methods, and Sylvania has decades of experience within this field. Our Research & Development team have developed lamps with specific light spectra to replace natural light in aquariums and terrariums.

Our aquarium and terrarium lamps deliver the best results for complex biological requirements.
