What is the meaning of downlight?
Downlights are types of lights installed in the ceiling of a room or area, producing light in a downward direction. Downlights are perfectly suitable for illuminating a room or corridor. Usually multiple downlights are used in the same area, connected to each other.
Did you know? The term “downlighter” was a registered patent by Concord (a high-end Sylvania Lighting brand), with a validity from 1966 to 2006. Of course, many other companies developed architectural downlights in that time, but until 2006, they could not name their products downlights.
